Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of headbop (https://headbop.projectsek.com) and the paid headbop Pro subscription (together, the “Service”). By using the Service or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

headbop lets you animate the heads in a photo to the beat of a song and export the result as a video. The photo, audio and video are processed on your own device, in your browser.

  • Free: one animated head, 480p video, headbop watermark.
  • headbop Pro: every head in the photo, HD video (up to 1280 px), no watermark.

We may change, add or remove features at any time. The Service is provided on an as-available basis.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy a subscription. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with a parent's or guardian's permission. You sign in with your Google account (other sign-in methods may be added). We create your account the first time you sign in. You are responsible for your email account and for everything done through your headbop account.

3. Subscription, price and automatic renewal

headbop Pro costs $4.99 per month, in U.S. dollars, plus any sales or use tax that applies where you live.

Your subscription renews automatically every month, and your payment method is charged each time, until you cancel. By checking the box and clicking “Subscribe”, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge $4.99 to your payment method now and every month until you cancel. If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it, and Pro access may be paused until the payment succeeds. We will give you advance notice of any price change, and it will apply from your next billing period; you can cancel before it takes effect.

4. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time, online, without contacting anyone: go to My account and click “Cancel subscription”. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You keep Pro access until then, and you will not be charged again.

5. Refunds

Payments are non-refundable and we do not give partial refunds for a billing period already started, except where required by law or where we decide otherwise at our discretion. If you believe you were charged by mistake, contact us at projectsekai.inc@gmail.com so we can look into it.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of your photos, music and videos. We do not receive, store or review them: everything is processed on your device. You are solely responsible for the content you use and the videos you create and share.

You promise that:

  • you own, or have permission to use, every photo and song you use;
  • you have the consent of any identifiable person in a photo (and of a parent or guardian for any minor), and you will respect their privacy and publicity rights;
  • you will not use the Service to harass, bully, defame, impersonate, deceive or embarrass anyone;
  • you will not create content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit or that involves minors in any inappropriate way.

You also agree not to disrupt the Service, bypass its limits (such as the free plan's watermark), scrape it, or try to access other users' accounts or data. We may suspend or end accounts that break these rules.

7. Our property

The Service, including its code, design, name and logo, belongs to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. Nothing here transfers any ownership of the Service to you.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. HEAD DETECTION AND CUTOUTS ARE AUTOMATIC AND MAY BE IMPERFECT; WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR OF VIDEOS YOU CREATE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE (OR US$50 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US). Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date, and we will notify subscribers of material changes before they apply to their next renewal. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms. Current version: 2026-10-14.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply at the operator's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer-protection laws of the place where you live still apply to you. Before starting any formal proceeding, please try to resolve the issue with us informally.
